In this role, you will assess common digestive symptoms, review diagnostic reports, support chronic condition management and advise patients on evidence-based dietary and lifestyle modifications while maintaining national telemedicine care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct online gastroenterology consultations.
• Assess symptoms such as abdominal pain, acidity, reflux, bloating and bowel irregularities.
• Review laboratory, ultrasound, CT, endoscopy and other reports.
• Provide appropriate clinical recommendations.
• Support management of chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
• Provide dietary and lifestyle recommendations within clinical scope.
• Identify symptoms requiring urgent investigation or hospital evaluation.
• Recommend appropriate diagnostic procedures and specialist follow-up.

Requirements:

To qualify for this Gastroenterologist Job in Malaysia, you should have:

• MBBS / MD with recognized postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Appropriate Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) specialist registration.
• Minimum of 6+ months of relevant clinical experience.
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
