About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help expand MantraCare’s presence in Canada.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners, managing the sales pipeline, and converting qualified opportunities into long-term business relationships.
The ideal candidate is a proactive business development professional who is comfortable with outbound prospecting, consultative selling, relationship management, and working independently in a remote environment.
You will engage with Canadian employers, HR leaders, healthcare organizations, and wellness stakeholders to introduce MantraCare’s digital healthcare, employee assistance, mental health, and corporate wellness solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new B2B business opportunities in the Canadian market.
- Prospect through LinkedIn, email, phone, networking, and referrals.
- Connect with HR leaders, employers, healthcare organizations, and corporate wellness teams across Canada.
- Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and product discussions with prospective Canadian clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through closing.
- Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
- Meet monthly and quarterly business development targets.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to support business growth.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, partnerships, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with lead generation and the B2B sales cycle.
- Comfortable with outbound sales through LinkedIn, email, and phone.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience selling to Canadian organizations is preferred.
- Healthcare, wellness, SaaS, HR tech, or employee assistance program (EAP) experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Canadian corporate wellness, employee benefits, or healthcare market is an advantage.
