Role Overview

As a remote therapist or psychologist, you will provide online counseling and psychological services to clients based on your qualifications, professional scope, and availability. This opportunity is suitable for mental health professionals seeking flexible schedules and remote clinical work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct online therapy and counseling sessions through a secure digital platform.
• Support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, and other mental health concerns within your professional scope.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and use appropriate, evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and confidential client records.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions when appropriate.
• Follow applicable Texas licensing rules, professional ethics, and telehealth requirements.
• Refer clients to appropriate providers or emergency services when their needs fall outside your scope of practice.

Requirements:

• A relevant graduate degree in psychology, counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or a related mental health field.
• An active Texas license or other applicable professional credential appropriate to the services offered, such as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist, as applicable.
• Relevant experience in therapy, counseling, or psychological services.
• Strong communication, empathy, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with evidence-based approaches such as CBT or other appropriate therapeutic modalities.
• A reliable internet connection and a private, professional environment for online sessions.
• Ability to provide telehealth services in compliance with applicable state requirements.
