Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Specialist / Orthopedician to provide online consultations for musculoskeletal and orthopedic concerns across Malaysia. In this role, you will assess symptoms, review radiological imaging, provide conservative treatment recommendations and advise patients on rehabilitation and lifestyle modifications while maintaining national telemedicine care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

In this Orthopedician Job in Malaysia (Remote), you will:

• Conduct virtual consultations for musculoskeletal complaints.
• Assess joint pain, back pain, neck pain, sports injuries and other orthopedic conditions.
• Review X-rays, MRI, CT scans and other diagnostic reports.
• Provide appropriate conservative treatment recommendations.
• Advise patients regarding exercises, rehabilitation and lifestyle modifications.
• Determine when physical examination, imaging or surgical evaluation is required.
• Refer patients to appropriate in-person specialists when necessary.
• Document consultations accurately and confidentially in the digital health record.

Requirements:

To qualify for this Orthopedician Job in Malaysia, you should have:

• MBBS / MD with a recognized orthopedic postgraduate qualification.
• Appropriate Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) registration and specialist registration.
• Minimum of 6+ months of relevant clinical experience.
• Good patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teleconsultation or virtual care experience is an advantage.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, confidential work-from-home setup.
